Community Needs Assessment – Teachers

1. What kind of pupil support is the hardest to give at the moment, and why?
2. Where are the key gaps in support for your pupils ? - e.g. are there particular classes, year groups or subsets of children that you would like to see better supported?
3. Whereabouts in the life of your school community do you most feel short-staffed?
4. If Success Club could run three new programmes for your school, what kind of programmes would you be interested in?
5. What are the greatest needs of your teaching staff at present?
6. How confident do you feel about meeting these needs?
7. How might you make the best use of 15 volunteer-mentors in your school?
8. Have parents/carers of your school children voiced any particular needs regarding the wellbeing of their children and the desire to receive more pupil support?
9. Did you feel able to adequately meet this need? If yes - how did you meet it? If no - why was it hard to meet the need?
